Use this list to record pass, issue, or not checked for each item. A completed checklist does not guarantee rankings or AI inclusion. It gives you a concrete list of things to correct and verify.
Access and page controls
- 1. Important public pages return a successful response.
- 2. A made-up address returns a genuine missing-page response.
- 3. Important pages are reachable through normal site links.
- 4. Robots and indexing controls match the intended public access.
- 5. Canonical addresses and sitemap URLs use the intended public domain.
Business facts
- 6. The public business name is accurate.
- 7. Phone and contact details are current.
- 8. Hours or appointment arrangements are correct where relevant.
- 9. Locations and service areas describe the actual business.
- 10. Credentials and historical claims have been checked.
Page content
- 11. Each important page answers a distinct question.
- 12. The title and main heading describe that subject.
- 13. Service scope and important conditions are explained.
- 14. Images have appropriate text alternatives and useful context.
- 15. Claims are supported by a relevant example or source.
Customer actions
- 16. The next action is visible on a phone.
- 17. Contact links lead to the intended destination.
- 18. Form errors explain how to correct the problem.
- 19. A successful inquiry can be matched to a received record.
- 20. Reports distinguish clicks, contact events, and received inquiries.
Use the findings
Record the URL and evidence for every issue, then assign the fix. Recheck the specific item after the change rather than marking it complete because someone edited the page.
Our SEO service and website support address different parts of this list. For a deeper example of documenting checks and results, see Oregon RV Outlet.
Turn the checklist into a work list
For each check, record Pass, Needs work or Not checked. Add the affected URL and the observation. “Not checked” should remain visible; treating it as a pass hides uncertainty.
Prioritize a broken customer action or an unintended indexing block before cosmetic wording changes. Next address missing buying information on important pages. Group wider editorial work into a planned update instead of changing every page at once.
For example, “Contact form displays success but no inquiry is received” requires tracing the delivery path. “Product page does not state the selected model” requires a content or selection fix. A total score would conceal the difference between those problems.
Use the implementation schedule to assign the repairs. Keep the checklist as the record of findings rather than repeating the main guide on every row.
